1. Purpose

This guide is formulated to ensure that the marketing and description of all power bank products are accurate and transparent, preventing consumer bad reviews or high order return rates arising from misunderstandings about capacity. All listed products must strictly comply with these specifications.

2. Core Principle: Transparent Capacity Disclosure

Customers often confuse “Total Battery Cell Capacity” with “Actual Output Capacity.” We must proactively and clearly explain the difference between the two.

2.1 Mandatory Explanatory Statement
Each power bank product description must include a statement with the following or similar content:

• The Nominal Total Capacity (e.g., 10000mAh) of a power bank’s internal battery cell is measured at 3.7V.
• The standard charging voltage for devices like smartphones is 5V. During discharge, a voltage conversion and boost process occurs, which involves inevitable energy loss.
• Therefore, the Actual Effective Output Capacity of a power bank is approximately 60%-70% of its Nominal Total Capacity.
• Example: For a power bank with a nominal capacity of 10000mAh, its actual available capacity for charging devices is approximately 6000-7000mAh (specific value varies by device and usage environment).

3. Product Specification Table Requirements

The specification table must clearly list both the “Nominal Capacity” and the “Rated Capacity” to provide unambiguous information.

4. Product Image and Visual Asset Requirements

Images are a crucial way for customers to verify information and must be clear and accurate.

• Prohibited Practices: It is strictly forbidden to use misleading large fonts to highlight “10000mAh” in images while stating the “Rated Capacity 6500mAh” in a tiny, illegible font.

5. Compliance and Review

• Non-Compliance Handling: Any product found to contain misleading, false, or concealed Rated Capacity information will be immediately rejected for listing or removed from sale. It will not be relisted until the supplier/operator provides corrected information that fully complies with this guide.
